Touring

To travel is…. to do your utmost to tell your story. Even when an intimate performance for 80 members of the audience suddenly must play outdoors – and for an audience of 800 – in sweltering heat. If there is a common will, well, then you try to carry through. To travel to the other side of the earth by plane, train, bus – and then cancel! No way!
Even though the physical language and the artistic effects can cross borders and overcome cultural differences, we have chosen the laborious route by translating and rehearsing in English, German and Spanish. It has been worth our while. Like getting the princess and half the kingdom.

EL VIAJE DE BALDER

Has played in the Mexican highland. Balder Sørensen has travelled to Cuba to earn money for e new heart. Has asked Japanese children in Okinawa, if he could get their hearts, if they were to die. But they were not to die. HEART TO HEART had to move on. In London Balder has told his story – HEART TO HEART – to earn money for his heart open-heart surgery in the US. He has travelled all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland, only to realize that it was his advanced control technical heart apparatus, which was failing. There was nothing wrong with his heart.

NORBERTO NUCAGORDA

From Ciudad Juarez at the American border to the warm coast of Campeche. From Oaxaca’s highland to the desert of Chihuahua. NORBERTO NUCAGORDA, a pigheaded, distrustful rhinoceros, has caused havoc among big and small Mexicans form the north to the south. From small mountain villages to noisy capital cities.
